How To Get Rid Of Gas and Bloating, an important way to prevent

Posted on 07:36 by Unknown
Most people do not relate bloating (that feeling of fullness accompanied by gas and lower digestive pain and discomfort) with a yeast infection. However, bloating is one of the primary symptoms of an internal yeast infection. Yeast infection bloating is a condition of the digestive tract caused by Candida overgrowth. Bloating might not seem like as urgent a problem as diarrhea, rash, cramps, and fatigue, but bloating is a common and uncomfortable symptom of a potentially serious illness.

Candida exists naturally inside of everyone's body. Its job is to help aid digestion. Candida helps in the digestion of foods and in the process of doing this it produces carbon dioxide which can cause a bloating sensation. When Candida grows out of control, even inside those with healthy immune systems, large amounts of carbon dioxide can be produced. This carbon dioxide, in turn, causes severe and sometimes painful bloating.

When Candida grows out of control it can irritate the lining of your stomach and intestines so that you aren't able to properly absorb the nutrients in your food. This can lead to alternating constipation or diarrhea. Candida is believed by some to be the number one cause of IBS or Irritable Bowel Syndrome. What makes Candida so damaging is that as it grows, it spreads large amounts of toxins throughout the body, thereby causing a wide range of symptoms and making diagnosis very difficult.

Many people who think they have a yeast infection will rush to the doctor or pharmacy to get various creams or medications to fight the symptoms. Unfortunately, they often find only temporary relief. There is no medicine or medication that will cure the root cause of this problem. They will only treat the symptoms.

In fact, medication can often be the cause of Candida overgrowth. An important way to prevent yeast infections is to limit or eliminate antibiotics from your medicine cabinet. It's believed that the biggest culprit in the spread of Candida is the use of antibiotics. Antibiotics kill many of the "good" bacteria in the digestive tract. Removal of the "good" bacteria gives Candida the ability to grow out of control and spread throughout the body.

If you suffer from yeast infection bloating there is hope. You must treat the root cause of the yeast infection by killing the existing yeast overgrowth and establishing an internal environment that will fight future overgrowth. Once this is done your body will be able to stay healthy and fight off any future attacks.

How to Get Rid of Bloating Fast? I Feel So Full

Posted on 07:25 by Unknown
I Feel So Full - How to Get Rid of Bloating Fast? To answer this question, you need to find out YOUR cause of bloating. Bloating is not a serious ailment, however, there are medical conditions that may be responsible for it, such as bowel obstructions, cirrhosis of the liver, colon or rectal cancer. If the symptoms are severe and persistent it is advisable to see your doctor.

If your doctor has ruled out any of the potential serious illness related to your bloating symptoms, your problem could only be a matter of excessive intestinal gas or indigestion. If that's the case, you can apply home remedies to get rid of bloating fast.

Excessive intestinal gas is mostly related to gas-producing foods. If your bloating is due to excessive gas, you need to know yourself and find out your particular cause, as different people may respond differently to gas-producing foods. Some cannot take onion or potato, some cannot put up with carbonated drinks. Keep a list of those foods and drinks that made you feel bloated and stay away from them.

Another option to deal with excessive gas is to take supplements with digestive enzymes to help absorb intestinal gas and reduce bloating. Activated charcoal can be taken but you need to seek advice from a registered pharmacist before taking any supplements.

Bloating may also be a result of inadequate digestion. If that's your case, then staying away from gas-producing foods or taking supplements may not help much. You may still suffer from bloating after eating, regardless of what you eat. If this happens to you, you can apply a natural remedy - short-term fasting.

Short-term fasting may be one of the best answers to your question of "How to get rid of bloating fast?". Let's look at it this way. When you feel sick, you stop working, take rest and recover. When you feel tired, you go on holiday and return to work refreshingly.

Short-term fasting works similarly. It is an ideal way to rejuvenate your digestive system. When you "feel so full", go on a 20 to 24 hour fast and your symptom will be eased pretty fast. If you do short-term fasting periodically in an on-going manner, you will find your bloating problem start to bother you less and less.

Ankle pain no swelling treatment

Posted on 00:01 by Unknown
The ankle is not a part of the human anatomy that we humans pay much attention to, unless of course, we are faced with about of ankle pain. The ankle is a crucial part of the body, the joint where the foot and leg meet and a delicate structure of muscles, ligaments and tendons. While the ankle joint bears a large amount of weight, it can be highly prone to injury and pain. Ankle pain can be brought on by a variety of factors and generally involves discomfort in one or both ankles.

Most people who are suddenly faced with ankle pain are taken by surprise. Unawares of the common causes of ankle pain, they are unsure of the nature of treatment they must undergo to fight the ankle pain. The commonest reason for ankle pain is an ankle sprain. A sprain in the ankles is usually caused by some damage to the ligaments which connect the bones to one another. Mostly, ankle pain is brought about by ankles twisting inward, causing the ligaments to tear slightly. The tearing in turn causes the ligaments to swell and bruise, making it hard for the ankle to bear weight.

Sprained ankles are not, however, the only cause of ankle pain. In some cases, ankle pain can be brought on by damage to the tendons, some infection in the ankle joint itself, or even osteoarthritis, gout, or other types of arthritis.

In some cases, injuries to areas near the ankle can lead to pain in the ankle itself. These can include heel pain, nerve injuries and blocked blood vessels in the leg itself.

While it is true that mild ankle pain can be easily treated at home; it can take a long time to heal, bringing about excruciating pain and discomfort.

For most people, knowing when to contact a medical professional for ankle pain is by far the trickiest thing when attacked by ankle pain. However, if the pain or the swelling does not go down even after a couple of days, or if some part of the ankle bone appears to be broken, or there are signs of infection, it is best to schedule a hospital visit.

Preventing ankle pain is a thing that most people never even think of, but is fairly simple to achieve. First, for the benefit of the ankle joint, and in fact, all joints, keep body weight to a healthy number. Extra weight sits heavy on all of your bones and joints. Exercise regularly, but make sure you warm up before the exercise.

This helps stretch the muscles and tendons that support the ankle and keep ankle injury and ankle pain away. Wear comfortable shoes, and stay away from high-heeled shoes that may result in injury. Most of all protect your ankles with supporting braces, air casts bandages or lace-up ankle supports during workouts.

Stiff neck causes, not all stiff necks are the same

Posted on 10:51 by Unknown
Stiff necks can be annoying, but they might also be a sign of a serious infection, tumor or other problem that does not originate in the neck.Meningitis is an infection in the membrane and fluid of the brain that could (if it is the bacterial kind) require medical attention ASAP.

Causes of a Stiff Neck
Not all stiff necks are the same. While most of the time a stiff neck is caused by whiplash, ergonomics, wear and tear, or just sleeping in a funny position, there are those instances where it can be the sign of something systemic.

A common cause of neck pain is muscle strain or tension. Usually, everyday activities are to blame. Such activities include bending over a desk for hours, having poor posture while watching TV or reading, placing your computer monitor too high or too low.Disk disorders. As you age, the cushioning disks between your vertebrae become dry and stiff, narrowing the spaces in your spinal column where the nerves come out. The disks in your neck also can herniate.

Symptoms of Stiff Neck
Oral cavity. A white or red patch on the gums, tongue, or lining of the mouth; a swelling of the jaw that causes dentures to fit poorly or become uncomfortable; and unusual bleeding or pain in the mouth.Nasal cavity and sinuses. Sinuses that are blocked and do not clear, chronic sinus infections that do not respond to treatment with antibiotics, bleeding through the nose, frequent headaches, swelling or other trouble with the eyes, pain in the upper teeth, or problems with dentures.

Upper abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting (which may indicate pancreatitis)Lower abdominal pain in women (may indicate swelling of the ovaries, which is rare)
Other possible causes for stiff neck—like influenza, polio and meningitis—are far more serious. These conditions, however, announce themselves with other unpleasant symptoms, including nausea, headache and swollen glands.

How is it treated
Acute -sudden onset of pain or severe pain - severe neck and/or arm pain may require use of a collar and/or bed rest for first 24 hours and use of ice for first 72 hours. This usually follows trauma, a car accident, a fall or sharp pain/popping felt in the neck. SELF CARE Additional treatment will be determined by severity of the problem.

Antiviral medications may be prescribed for herpes encephalitis or other severe viral infections. Antibiotics may be prescribed for bacterial infections. Anticonvulsants are used to prevent or treat seizures. Corticosteroids are used to reduce brain swelling and inflammation. Our health-care provider will advise you on treatment options. Acyclovir, famcyclovir, or val acyclovir (medicines that work against herpes viruses) are recommended for persons who are more likely to develop serious disease, including persons with chronic skin or lung disease, otherwise healthy individuals 13 years of age or older, and persons receiving steroid therapy.

A regular painkiller - taking it regularly by the clock not just when it seems to hurt most. If you aren't allergic to aspirin then one of the more modern aspirin-like drugs, like nurofen, taken three times a day for three or four days.In The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook, nationally certified massage therapist Clair Davies simplifies Travell and Simons’s extensive research into myofascial pain and makes it accessible to the layman.
