Alcohol related death in men and women

Posted on 23:36 by Unknown
Since the 1990's there has been an invariable rise in the amount of alcohol related deaths, climbing up from 4000 (6.7 per 100k) in '92 to just over 9000 deaths (13.67 per 100K) in '08. Alcohol related death in men has continued to rise since 2008. In women the rates have stayed unchanged. The effects of alcohol are quite evident from these facts.

Today in the UK more males are dying from alcohol abuse than females. The rate at which men are dying is more than 2 times over the course from 9.1 per 100K in '91 to 18.7 per 100K in '08. The increase in women's rates is not as rapid, going from 5.0 per 100K in '91 to 8.7 in '08, under half of the rates for men. During '08, alcohol related deaths in men represented 2 thirds of the entire amount of alcohol related deaths. Just under 6000 men died and just over 3000 women due to alcohol.

Depending of age the trends differs. Men and women alike, bottom rates across the course were in the age bracket of fifth-teen to thirty four year olds. During '08, the rates were 2.9 per 100K and 1.3 per 100K accordingly. The top rates were seen in people between the ages of filthy five and seventy four. In males, we see another increase from 23 per 100K in '92 and '93 to 45.8 per 100K in '08, the greatest rate among all of the different age categories. Overall deaths related to alcohol have increased substantially compared to figures recorded in '07.

Deaths related to alcohol amongst women have been persistently less than the rates for men and as the patterns show a fairly congruent pattern over all of the age categories. When it comes to men, the top rates for women in the '91-'08 course were in the age group fifth five to seventy four. In '08, this groups rate reached it's high point at 21.5 per 100K. The rates in the other categories decreased and where at their lowest for females between the ages of fifteen and thirty four at 1.3 per 100K.

As you can see these alcohol statistics paint a very bleak picture. Chances are if you are reading this then you are concerned with the amount of alcohol you or someone else is consuming. Here are 3 ways to help reverse the damage done by consuming alcohol.

1. Stop or cut down drinking alcohol. Looking at the statistics above this would be a very wise move.

2. Adopt a Healthy Diet. This will give your bodies what it needs. A healthy diet consists of good quality lean protein sources like lean meats, chicken, fish, soya, eggs. Complex carbohydrates such as whole-grains, pulses, & legumes. Plenty of green leafy vegetables and adequate hydration from bottled or filtered water.

3. Take a supplement made from AFA. Adult stem cells, found in abundance inside your bone marrow, are the key to your bodies natural system of renewal. Adult stem cells have the ability to multiply and transform into thousands of brand new cells which then migrate to where ever your body may need them. As alcohol is extremely damaging to your body, especially your liver and brain, this can help to reverse any damage already done. AFA has been used by NASA to help repair the brain damage astronauts suffer from the rigors of going into space.
